HD600 have dogshit imaging. Soundstage is a subjective thing so I won't mention that but imaging on those is awful. Not to mention the recessed bass you can't even EQ much because distortion.

Movies have way higher peaks than music does. Add EQ to that and you'd easily pass the threshold at which HD600 distorts in the bass.

Those 30 year old sr 007s distort like a motherfucker, good luck EQ'ing bass on those. The newer STAX models are phenomenal but their older models have issues with distortion.
490 Pro mogs all of Senny's HD6X0 models because it doesn't use 20 year old outdated drivers.

No. HD600/6XX is fine for music that doesn't rely on bass, though. Terrible for movies and vidya and anything with even a little bass.
