I fully agree. It was one of my major complaints with BF5, and despite the pushback I received, I knew it was just a ploy to reach a larger audience. It was completely distasteful considering that female gamers largely only play mobile games, and studies have found they spend more than males on microtransactions and virtual currencies.

Coincidental considering BF5 was the first BF to get microtransactions for player skins... It's not solely about inclusivity; it's a calculated effort by the higher-ups to increase their revenue.
