I think she's supposed to be way younger than Ponko or Ponko's brother was when they were kids, plus being raised by Ponko only knowing the hotel makes it natural that she's a little shit. Ponko was a lil' shit too but she at least had some maturity as the onee-chan and knowing how bad the situation they ran away from is.
