Pretty basic. Big dinosaurs and lizardmen tribes. The jungle island is the only place on the planet with no natural elf population. Centuries ago a snake tribe began sacrificing dinosaurs and bathing in their blood to gain immortality, then they woke up the spirit of the island which is godzilla who fried them all and encased their immportal bodies in gold. So those snake tribe temples are the old ruins with cool shit in them for players to explore. The lizard tribes guard some of them to make sure the snake people and their evil knowledge never escapes.

Also random groups will show up on the island for refuge, trade, rituals, hunting, research, etc just so I can keep things fresh and not every session feels too samey.

Also there's a big chunk of the island covered in tall trees that is ruled by the Monkey King.
