PSA to any newfags to this game: disable Steam's cloud backup for this game. When your world save starts getting absolutely massive (when you really start walking off the beaten path), the cloud backup is gonna shit the bed and start doing some unsavory shit randomly. Also, if you ever start seeing this screen upon loading your world, you might want to end the run or go to New Game+ before your world becomes too unstable. If you go long distances in one session, it's a smart idea to reload the engine from time to time. Restart with Selected Mods Enabled in the menu will do this without needing to manually close and reopen the game.
