Turn this around. If not for Kyuubi, Naruto would've had (near?) unlimited sage mode with the frogs on his shoulders, which would have meant no easy opening for Pain when he reverted to base and tons more spamming.

If you accept this Kyuubi based handicap you have to accept the Kyuubi bailout. It's a clean win.
