Eh, as more of a capitalist myself the crown often acts as an impediment. See Russia and their fundamental failure to liberalize their economy leading to their steady decline. Russia's own charter companies couldn't even make a decent profit because most of their population was serfs and thus ineligible to leave their lands to work for the company.
