Sometimes rebuild world makes me think that the author is just milking it with it's vague/unexplained plot and the MC incrementally getting stronger to eventually, one day, complete Alpha's request. But even in volumes that feel kind of filler (like the 賞金首 one), the plot does move forward at least a bit, and plot points connect, so it doesn't feel too episodic and I can forgive it for that.

Vol. 6下 was a banger and reminded me of the feeling of 死後報復依頼プログラム (vol. 2下). The ending was... yeah I was surprised the author had the guts to do that. Those characters he built up and now their storyline ends just like that. It kind of makes me think like... did the author have something else planned with them and gave up on it, or was this necessary to move the story forward? He didn't do it just to be edgy right? I liked those characters and they were pretty well fleshed out so it was surprising. I've been listening to the audiobook, but might just read the rest of the PDFs now because audible update schedule is slow.
