here's an example; 2nd anniversary character was just released which has a wedding skin and even more in depth scene but it's not on youtube like the sex elf. They gave pic related to everyone for free as a max limit break welfare with the skin and interactive scene being where all the monetization is, it was so successful they're now doing 2 characters every major patch with 1 being free since skins are where they make their money
I wish nikke would put in the effort to make gacha skins more than just a homescreen lobby .png but as long as people keep buying them even when low effort I guess Shift Up is incentivized to continue puttin in bare minimum effort
