I wonder if Japanese believe in Roald Dahl's ugly thoughts make ugly people phenomenon. It reminds me of the Japanese guy Masaru Emoto who claimed positive and negative thoughts and words can change the molecular structure of water, like making water crystals more beautiful with kind affirmations or making rice spoil faster if you call it a piece of shit.
