That seems a fair bit, although are you applying it to the whole thigh? I guess there's no downside to using a lot, but maybe you'd want to try different methods to improve absorption to get more out of it

The issue would be that you're measuring the whole leg, and it'd be harder to know of the growth is solely where you are using the treatment.

I just have it so it doesn't dig in at all, just against the surface if the skin.

I think what I'll do, since I prefer measuring against the floor to relax my muscles, is use a plank to mark the leg at certain increments. Then I'll put my leg along it on the ground to line up the tape on the back of the tight (which will be attached to thr plank) to get quick and easy measurements. If I attach a piece of wood perpendicular at the end in order to stand on it will mean I can also put my foot against it on the ground to make sure it's lined up.
I may still try to make a 3D scanner, since it would be good to have two types of measurements to try and see where the swelling is actually is occurring, but I'll first have to test the accuracy to know if it's worth the effort. If so, I'd not start testing again until the weekend. At which point I think I'll do the test if using moisturiser vs hand sanitizer.
