The lore and setting is abysmal and whimsical.
They keep reusing major characters from Fantasy, to this date, when they should be trying harder to get people to care about anything else.
Many of the armies are incomplete or relying on Fantasy models still.
Many players don't feel secure in it because many models and and armies got removed suddenly.
There's some good sides to it. Namely bouncing off some gameplay ideas (Spear Head, Warcry, gameplay consolidation, etc.) except almost no one plays it. I do know plenty of people who buy AoS models but they only do so for proxying or just cool factor and nothing else, not even caring about lore or gameplay.
