Kek. You are proving my point. Because I was actually the only one from my friend group to own RE5 so you can imagine what happened. I ended up having to play it A LOT with them. RE5 is probably the game I have played the most when it comes to co-op.

Sure, it was fun as a way to pass the time. I give you that. But that was fucking it. Any previous RE game has always been much more than that. Playing RE4 or RE0 or RE3 or any other RE game is actually enjoyable on its own. You can play them alone and not only have fun but also use them as a form of relaxation. The environments, the music, the characters, the story. Every aspect of the games make you feel like you are experiencing something more than just a game.

Don't get me wrong. Keep in mind that what I'm saying doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the co-op aspect. The Outbreak games were co-op and they are an absolute masterpiece. Playing them alone is a 10/10 experience and playing them with friends is even better. But that's not the case with RE5 and RE6. That's why they are such a gigantic downgrade compared to the rest of the RE games.
