I do not hate Mayu, in fact I love Mayu. That's why I was so angry when Narita completely assassinated Mayu's character. Or more like, she stabbed her in the back, then carved off Mayu's face and wore it as her own for the rest of the show. The difference was night and day.
Narita HERSELF even fucking ADMITTED IT in an interview. She poured her own hopes and hetfag dreams into Mayu, instead of leaving her alone and allowing her to be her own character.
Most people here were even remarking at how Mayu seemed to have suddenly pivoted to being extroverted and is now a hetard shipshitter out of nowhere. At first we weren't sure whether it was a one-off gag, but nope. Narita leaned HARD into her self-made self-insert from then on, and the original character of Mayu was long since rotting at the bottom of the Animal Town sewer system.
