Caine didn't force them to abstract, it's all mental skill issues from the players who couldn't handle being stuck in baby hell any longer, he cannot mess with their minds*(*Status on that pending) so even if he wanted to fix or prevent the issue, it's just out of his grasp

Also where the hell is he supposed to have them? If he displayed them in cages like the animals they became things would go south really fast with the remaining humans so the next best thing is to sweep them under the rug (or cellar drop whatever), it seems to calm them down too so that's a win win

Caine can reach AM-tier he is just hindered by his own moral code and because he is just a guy trying to adapt to a shit situation like the others (he has been running for years and his systems might be severely outdated to deal with increasing self demand)
