It's literally a dream come true for me! As someone who hated Bananza upon its initial reveal, I literally remember saying to myself the ONLY way I'd be happy with this game is if #1 that stupid purple rock thing goes away immediately and #2 if you could get different outfits for young Pauline ala Super Mario Odyssey. I was convinced Pauline would be exclusively seen in cutscenes and the stupid rock would be how she looked during gameplay. This direct feels like Nintendo specifically catered to me exact demands.
I was the anon who made pic related because I was genuinely concerned about Nintendo going full Commiefornia-pandering mode. I no longer feel morally obligated to boycott their new console. Looks like their redemption arc is officially in effect! I'll wait until July 17th to buy the Switch 2 that way I can send a message with my purchase.
