Doesn't that make her the best Eva girl by default? She's just not as in touch with her humanity as the other girls you mentioned, and thus isn't as humanly desirable or relatable (even though I relate to Rei quite a bit). But Rei is magical in a way the others aren't. Extremely noble and beautiful like a diamond, and positively celestial in her appearance and demeanor. Rei is the single best representation of an angel in fiction and is basically a goddess.
