Opening actions of the left flank. My champion and Fighter press up...he pops open a door and takes some potshots at my Champion. poor rols on his side, doing only 4 points of damage with 2 rounds of shooting. He then followed up with his melee guy running at my champion. I was in Overwatch and HotShotted him with my plasma pistol as he was running at me....ended up taking 6 points of damage from the Hotshot. Follow-up melee I killed him off with taking only a couple of points of damage in return. The hotshot did more to me than his melee attacks. My champion would fall the next turn from following up bolter fire from the first guy who shot at him.
