Default lights and some photoshop to push things further. Regular triple-point (blue/red). I'll usually paint in some shadows around the hair as XIV just doesn't, pick out some highlights like the metal, eyes, lips, etc. I split it into three or four depending, but mostly use a shadows layer (multiply), lights (overlay), superlight/highlights (overlay).
Lights you can usually just use pure white at diff opacities, shadows you want to find your base colour, desaturate and darken, and paint from there.
I have a whole ass PSD with a bunch of adjustments that lets me tinker quickly, so its not as involved as it sounds. Model painting like warhams taught me a lot about highlighting and how powerful it can be.
