Fakesaw and Fire Devil were always connected to eachother, you would have a point with Shigga's reveal but at the same time the manga introduced yet more unresolved plot lines like Famine (real) and now AsaYoru changing their mind quite literally getting impaled. Not to mention the old unresolved ones like Power, Nayuta and missing characters
