but yeah, since I have looked at them irl yeah I agree matte just diffuses light and makes it look like an lcd and reduces perceived contrast and colors quite a lot
in dark room I think they would be near the same although you still have a tinge of the layer still there
this only narrows it down a bit though and we have many more problems to go through
