iirc the dad is using testosterone gel on his balls and not properly washing his hands/waiting for it to disperse before hugging his kids. both the brother and sister have fucked up hormones. This might also be the episode where the boy kid is a real asshole and the parents are hoping it's a symptom (it's not).
House is an excellent show. A lot of TV from its era has a cheap look or feel to it, but the production values on House are always great. House, Wilson, Cuddy, Cameron, Chase, and Foreman are all great and some of the later additions to the cast like Thirteen, Kutner, and Taub are also great.
