It already kind of faded. R&M is just "that reddit show" now. sci-fi comedy is so fucking abysmal right now that I WANT R&M to be good again, but I doubt [as] is gonna listen to us fat dweebs and lanky chuds that comprise /co/. I'm GENUINELY surprised /co/ hasn't made any original cartoons yet. Youtube has a somewhat-revived "market" for animated shows these past few years and NG still exists, so there's still an opportunity. /v/ has aggydaggy and multiple successes tied to it, but I've never heard of a /co/ influenced show.
I also agree with you with the episode ratings besides 5, I felt like the second half made up for the first half (didn't get to see 9 yet)

They really don't know how to write a character like Rick anymore, now he's just an answer to the show's plot corners. I really like Rick in general so seeing him go from crazy and smart scientist to God to apathetic mush is just gay and lame. They lost the plot on him ages ago

I genuinely fucking hate what the family has become except Jerry (in this season anyway, and even then Ep9 has to emasculate him for no reason)
