This is really hard to tell because there are not many families in Sonic. The Conductor's daughter has her father's eyes and mother's color. Cream is a clone of Vanilla. If we include the manga then Sonic's parents popped out two kids that looked like them with the son having darker color than the dad and the daughter being a lighter version of the mom. So far it looks like they play by Gumball rules.
