I think the Lillie ending and the DIS ending complement each other nicely, and I don't like treating one as more 'true' than the other. Lillie's ending focuses on the human elements of the story, and gives closure to the characters. The DIS ending feels less personal but gives greater insight into the sci-fi worldbuilding. Each route puts focus on an aspect that makes up the greater story and I think that's neat storytelling.
