>“You're getting better at not crushing things," she teased.
>"DOGAHAHAHA!" Loki said, and gently lifted her up to his shoulder, placing her near the top of one of Elbaph’s high stone towers. From there, the sky stretched like an endless canvas.
>Carrot gasped. “It’s beautiful…”
>Loki sat beside the tower, resting an arm across his knee. He watched her with a quiet expression for a moment. “You’re the first outsider I’ve ever brought up here.”
>Carrot blinked. “Really?”
>He nodded. “Elbaph values strength. But you… you’ve got something else. Spirit. Heart. You’re small, but you shine so bright it makes the stars jealous.”
>Carrot blushed, ears flicking. “Gosh, you’re more poetic than I thought.”
>Loki rubbed the back of his neck, looking off to the mountains. “Don’t tell anyone. Giants aren’t supposed to be soft.”
>Carrot leaned forward, placing a tiny paw on his helmet. “Maybe not. But I like this side of you.”
>Their eyes met—one as big as her whole body, warm and gentle.
>Then, in a moment of silence, Carrot stepped forward and kissed the side of his cheek, right near the corner of his eye. A soft touch—brief but bold.
>Loki froze. Then a slow grin spread across his face.
>"DOGAHAHAHA!" he laughed again, but this time it was quieter, more surprised. “That… was very brave.”
>Carrot shrugged, looking away with a smirk. “I am a brave mink.”
>Loki looked at her like she was the most extraordinary thing he'd ever seen. “Then perhaps... you’ll stay a little longer? Maybe... teach me more about the stars.”
>She glanced back at him, her green eyes shimmering. “Only if you promise not to fall for anyone else.”
>He grinned, eyes soft.
>“I already fell, little rabbit"
>Under the stars, her paw on his cheek, his fingertip brushing her waist, they leaned in. Her breath hitched—then their lips met, tender and slow, the world hushed around their kiss.
