SFA2 has a more classic vibe to it—the music obviously but also in other subtler aspects. Also the SFA2 stages are more detailed and interesting imo.
I like the big fat roster in 3 and some of the extra home port modes, but it doesn't really make SFA2 obsolete (not that it triesdto either).
