Why don't toy companies just make figures timed? Like if stores don't sell product after a certain amount of time they ship it back to Mattel and Mattel can send it to other parts of the world. Here in Aus I constantly see people on /toy/ talking (even complaining) about figures choking toy aisles, even when they go on clearance, and yet toy aisles here barely get refreshed and look like picrel either left where it's empty, or right where it's just kitschy crap like those giant Ooshies and shit is trashed.
I remember trying to get the Origins Keldor two-pack was expensive as fuck to import and yet I saw people posting pictures of pallets of the fucking things.
Surely the shipping costs would cost Mattel less than what they lose by everything going on discount?
