TQ: I mean, that's just one of the NE Beast Man bodies with some foliage parts. So how about NE Stratos as a gorilla, with big enough wings on his back to sell "this creature can fly"?
It's New Eternia, so the only limits are budget for unique parts, their imagination and a pinch of common sense like "Don't make an oversized sneaky ninja".

>Goodness gracious, that art is so bad.
It reminds me of those low budget comics from companies that don't really care about comics. Like when they do adaptations of old Nancy Drew stories or Babysitters Club books, or even sometimes when a kid is supposed to be super into comic books in a movie but they don't want to pay the license for a real book so they hire someone to make one for the movie and the anatomy is way over-the-top and the colours are really garish.

Why did mattel cut short the regular MOTU origins line? They never finished the original line
>>11541632
Because Mattel never finishes anything. They're like a bunch of ADHD spergs.
Between both Origins and Masterverse, the only subset of figures you can call complete is Rulers of the Sun
>>11541632
>Why did mattel cut short the regular MOTU origins line? They never finished the original line
They're still in the process of slowly finishing the original vintage line.
Remember that Origins has been struggling at retail since January 2022. Like for a long time after I picked up my Snout Spout and Leech at full price, a full peg minus my purchase sat at that Wal-Mart for months on end and were eventually marked down, that whole time sitting next to unsold Wave 7. Earlier this year, Target found a large supply of Dragon Blaster Skeletor and Snake Face, years after every adult in the USA who likes MotU got theirs. Nothing was selling in retail quantities, so each regular and deluxe wave had to be produced in much smaller quantities (which is why Whiplash and Digitino command a premium over most Evil Warriors and Sunners, and the whole King Hiss/Thunder Punch He-Man shortage) or simply not sell until they make their way to somewhere like Ross.
Cartoon Collection was a refresh to convince retailers this was something new, not just more Masters of the Universe Origins they'd already been burned by. And now I see Wal-Marts with ~6 unsold Fakers in front of a couple of Evil-Lyns, so it's time to give up on CC outside of Mattel Creations and fan channels.

Beating a dead horse at this point but I wish Club Grayskull was Mattel's way of selling these toys direct to fans that would bypass all the hassle of retail. I lost 95% of my interest in Motu collecting because the juice wasn't worth the squeeze to try and find everything.
Two years ago it would be been inconceivable that MC would have 4 exclusives that I just didn't buy. But in leafland we missed Moss Man, the ToG deluxes, and a lot of other ones I can't remember.
I would pay the $15 loonies of CG if it meant I could just buy the toys and have them shipped. No ebay, no flippers, no baloney.

Why don't toy companies just make figures timed? Like if stores don't sell product after a certain amount of time they ship it back to Mattel and Mattel can send it to other parts of the world. Here in Aus I constantly see people on /toy/ talking (even complaining) about figures choking toy aisles, even when they go on clearance, and yet toy aisles here barely get refreshed and look like picrel either left where it's empty, or right where it's just kitschy crap like those giant Ooshies and shit is trashed.
I remember trying to get the Origins Keldor two-pack was expensive as fuck to import and yet I saw people posting pictures of pallets of the fucking things.
Surely the shipping costs would cost Mattel less than what they lose by everything going on discount?

I'm hoping they at least license the stone protectors. If they just copy the origins formula that would be sweet. If they can afford all that articulation tooling on the Biker Mice, Sectaurs, Madballs, im sure they could do these with origins like articulation. Skipp the parts swapping and silicone web gear. Just keep the troll hair. I'd even not worry about the sparking stones.

Picked this guy up today. This figure actually kinda rules. I do wish the shoulders were hinge and swivel, but it's not that big a deal. I bought him mostly for the sake of just having this iteration to put in a He-Man through the years type display eventually, but he's a lot of fun to play around with.
Also while the proportions are kinda wacky, I think it does a good job of modernising the original He-Man toy mentality of having him being so much larger than the life that he stands out from the rest of all your other action figures.
They only thing I'm kinda concerned about is how the internal mechanism with hold up over time, though worst case scenario I can just glue his torso together. Has anyone cracked one open to see what the mechanism is? It feels like it's an actual metal spring.

I would love that just because we need clarity about the Horde species.
Both the gray-skinned and blue-skinned Hordak have a head that doesn't match his skin. Blue officially has a cybernetic head, while on the toy it looks like bone, with the sagittal crest many animals have but humans don't. What does a normal Horde species head look like?

Fun seeing Sssqueeze working alongside Evil Warriors. In the minicomics, the Skeletor basically became a member of the Snake Men. The two times we saw him with EWs instead, the ones from 85 and earlier had abandoned him and he was alone with Faker until a spell or Evil Cloud summoned new ones.

It does, but I was thinking of Energy Zoids of one of the mini-comics where Skeletor is a member of the Snake Men.
"King of the Snake Men" established the new status quo, then the Snake Men with Skeletor were the antagonists in "Snake Attack", "The Ultimate Battleground!", "Energy Zoids" and the PoG mini-comic.

I'm surprised more of these companies havent tried aping the success of Origins. Even Playmates took a good 5 years before they "got" it. Despite not being the biggest fan of the Stone Protectors myself I can see them working out in Origins/Remastered fashion.
That said, Nacelle's choice of turtle clones has been all over the place.Biker Mice and MooMesa both make sense because they were some of the biggest turtle clones of their day. Biker Mice has a huge following in Europe and Russia too. But having both feels a little redundant. Then they nabbed Barnyard Commandos from the ruins of premium dna (mostly to use as a stand in for GI Joe) and that further mucked things up. Zen would have been a better choice imo. You'd get more alien weirdos in the line AND its a turtle clone to boot.

>But having both feels a little redundant.
They probably did it because they could afford to, and releasing new figures doubles their shot as something resonating and being a hit. Imagine if they passed on Moo Mesa because they thought no-one would give a shit about cow boy cows, and then for some reason it gets a resurgence in popularity? It also means that if one brand does well it can support the other.
While I appreciate the new Biker Mice figures they released, I do wish they'd follow the Origins playbook a little closer and release updated versions of the original figures, hell even a straight re-release wouldn't be too bad, the articulation on those figures is still pretty solid by today's standards.

Honestly had a pin/hinge on the elbows, wrists and knees, and tweak the shoulders and hips for extra range of movement, and it's pretty set.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, making all of the Origins figures modular was the smartest move Mattel made in bringing the line back, it allowed for not just more articulation, but also way more cost-effective mould re-use, which keeps manufacturing costs down, retail costs down, and way more variety of figures to be made. I'm fairly certain that without that modularity the Thundercats figures would not have gotten made, it also means that Mattel can sink a larger up-front cost into lines like the upcoming 200X line, because those figures will be able to mixed-and-matched with other parts in future.
Nacelle doing the same with the original Biker Mice figures would be awesome.

I've never heard about the Roboforce joint issue until now. Is it serious? Far as I can tell none of their figures had particularly bad QC. What's your issue with the new Sectaurs line? Towards the end of vintage, after the movie came and went, Mattel was fixated on finding some way to make MOTU financially viable again. Mark Taylor and the other designers all pitched various ideas, and Taylor's suggestion was to transform MOTU into a GI Joe competitor.
Beyond that there's the snake connection, the class of 84' legacy, the overlap in fanbases, and the fact that ARAH is the final frontier for 80's action figure IP.

Ever notice how in the early 80's our childhood heroes were mostly human, like Duke and He-Man, but in the late 80's it switched to animals, like Ninja Turtles and Thundercats?
In the late eighties and early 90's, Ninja Turtles became the most popular toy for boys.
Turtles are reptiles (beasts). The Ninja Turtles were surfer dudes (water). They lived in the sewers (the underground). The lead turtle, Leonardo, wears a blue bandana (water). Their leader is a rat (associated with scum and villainy). The Ninja Turtles were often shown watching TV, playing video games and eating pizza (lazy and non-productive).

Ah, that explains why they were still promoting a hero related to the sun and villain related to the moon and water.
Lion-O - the lion is a solar animal linked to the Sun god Ra in Egypt. A lion's mane is yellow, orange, red (Sun).
Mumm-ra has blue skin (water). He was often shown with a moon in the background, and his pyramid is linked to lunar power.

Panthor versus Junkyard
Tri-clops dressed as Scrap Iron
Kobra Khan in Cobra uniform
I made some new mega customs. I'm genuinely surprised we haven't gotten an official minicomic ninjor. He's depicted as all black with he-man style arms and legs. I'll eventually paint the proper boots all black for mine.
Then an OC who is a half-orc half-elf hybrid. She's a spoiled brat currently making her way as an adventurer after running away from home.

Me again. Went and picked up the Skeletor today. Of all the updates to Skeletor's design, I genuinely think this is the best version. The hood draping over the shoulder is cool, and the skull on the chest with the ram horns going over the shoulders and wrapping around over the back is an interesting way to update the crossover straps from the original design. It also reminds me of the way the snakes wrap around the back of Thulsa Doom's armour in the Conan movie (added a picture for reference). Finally the stylised skulls and all the neon green give off Spawn vibes.
I do really enjoy the figures and the exaggerated proportions, but I would love to see this Skeletor design translated onto the Origins mould. I know some folks didn't dig on the proportions of the CG series, so putting it on the Origins body might give them a chance to enjoy all the good qualities of the design.

How powerful are the Evil Warriors?
Skeletor
Evil-Lyn is squishy by Eternian standards, but uses magic to get OP. Or Rev Scare Glow, since he's a god.
Beast Man is a big guy who can command groups of dangerous animals, which should put him significantly above other big brutes.

It's actually neither.
In 2023 they made "snakes" the whole theme of Origins, everything was either a snake man or a snake variant of someone with a few exceptions. And then when it was over and folks were ready for new Horde or Evil Warriors...they released five new snakes at retail instead while simultaneously pulling vintage from retail entirely and Snake Lair winning a vote held at the time for the crowd fund after Eternia. Snake fatigue kicked in, everyone bitched and now it's basically a meme to hate snakes

King Hiss came out with Thunder Punch He-Man
12: Tung Lashor/Snake Armor Skeletor/mini-comic Roboto/Hypno
13: 200X King Randor/Snake Teela/Snake Trooper/Samurai with deluxe Snake Face/Dragon Blaster Skeletor
14: Spikor/Sssqueeze/Serpent Claw Man-At-Arms/Snake infiltrating the royal guard
... and that was the end of mass retail until Cartoon Collection. Wal-Mart got a wave of 4 different Snake Men, Duplico from Rulers of the Sun and a $30 Snake Men army builder. Target got 4 RotS characters. Fan channels got a 4-pack with 3 new snakes and recolored Snake Armor He-Man.

Basically you'd have Skeletor and the Snake Men open a portal to Earth and meet them, requiring any Heroic Warriors in the crossover to go find the US military (it makes the most sense if they include Marlena, so they won't).
Yeah you're on the same track I was. Have Skelly and the Snake Men reverse engineer the cosmic key. Skeletor dethrones Hiss and takes his power (leading to the release of Concept Hiss) only to return with Cobra weaponry to Eternia, while aiding in an invasion of Earth alongside Cobra commander. Then the heroes find out independently of each other and establish contact before going into all out war. The Joes would get Eternian upgrades, and the Heroic Warriors would all get tacticool militaristic ones. Maybe all the bad guys end up with a thulsa doom look?

I wouldn't be too upset if they made Goat Man without him, since like
>>11545086 I really want characters like Marlena and Glimmer to get priority, but I do like him.
Like let's be honest with ourselves Goat Man fans, he has no personality beyond "dumb, may serve Beast Man rather than Skeletor directly" and his design is Galaxy Warriors tier, not a unique toyetic body like most characters from the later half of vintage MotU.
Give him a child apprentice like a member of the medieval warrior class and suddenly there's some characterization meat to work with.

I also agree about giving him the child sidekick. And this is a personal storytelling preference but I wouldn't want to know why / how they got paired up. Mattel spent the years between 1992 (when the "MotU sized" New Adventures variants came out) and 2020 taking zero initiative to promote He-Man.
1996: 80s kids' media is trying to reinvent itself for a new generation (e.g. Transformers Beast Wars, Extreme Ghostbusters in 97) itself. Lou Scheimer notices and tries to get DIC and Mattel to bring MotU back. Mattel won't.
2002: Mattel pays for MotU toy molds and cartoon production only because the Four Horsemen took the initiative to show off their designs and ask the trademark holder's permission to proceed.
2009-2016: Mattel employees are surprised every time they learn that the DC Brand Manager they hired is selling He-Man toys online on the side.
2017: Super7 wants to pay us for permission to sell He-Men online? OK.
2018: Shocked that the huge corporation the Filmation rights found their way to would want to do anything with She-Ra.
2020: Finally push toys to retail, with cartoons to follow a year later.
The amount of slothful indifference was startling.
What are your favourite MotU toys? One from your childhood, one from right now and one playset?

In retrospect maybe "play features" is the wrong term. It's got a lot of props, like the awesome throne, the crystal ball, the practice dummy. It also came with some extra weapons that work well with Origins. There was this big spinal column that could be used as a ladder or a spooky background thing. There was also a working jail cell.
If you are someone into toy photos and want something with lots of potential - the Primal Batcave was great value.
It's the first playset my kids reach for.

No need to remind me, I've been alive for most of it. Aside from 200X it's been a pretty miserable stretch of time. They're like this with alot of their boy brands too. Look no further than the likes of Mighty Max or Street Sharks for further evidence of that. The worst part of it all is watching history repeat itself again and again.
I've mentioned as much before but the CGI series really felt like it came along a decade too late. I'm seeing alot of the same hallmarks with the 2027 movie too. Why ape Guardians of the Galaxy a decade past its best by date?!
FFS it will have been 40 years, and not once will they have properly adapted the franchise for the big screen. Transformers came and went twice in the same span of time that's transpired!

Tung Lashor and Rattlor were my favs as a kid. And even as an adult those are my two fav vintage figures.
Tung because he's so eye-catching and Rattlor because it's the most fun gimmick to play with for me.
Out of the modern toys, those two lost a bit of their standing (you can guess why) so from Origins I'd probably name Mosquitor and Trap Jaw my two favs. Clawful is great too.

we're almost guaranteed to be getting a 5.5 DC line, right?
How much longevity do you think the new characters introduced in the modern era will have?
Will any of them become franchise staples going forward, or will fans and Mattel alike just forget they ever happened? And who do you have the most and least faith in?
I'm talking characters like Frog Monger, Sting-Or, Necro-Conda, Rattle Hood, Horde Revenant and the rest of the army builder 4 pack, Motherboard, Queen Osirah, Tarangela and anyone else you can think of from any toyline, cartoon or comic since 2020.

Tung Lashor and Kobra Khan for me. I liked the misty water blast feature and I think Tung Lashor was the last MotU I got as a child. I really liked the snake men alot and agree that Tung Lashor's color and design was just really interesting. And making him flip his tongue in and out was a good fidget toy.
Semi-related I picked up a King Hiss foot soldier today at Ross and can finally make full serpentine King Hiss to rule Snake Mountain. I think he's pretty cool. Debating whether it's worth buying a second one to give him a six sets of arms build because they had a loooooot of them.

Has anyone become a franchise staple in the 21st century?
The 2002 cartoon tried to make every B-list Heroic and Evil Warrior from 1982-5 more prominent (no Jitsu or Spikor), and King Hiss and Rattlor got a lot of attention. But those were all 80s toys.
Oh, they created King Grayskull.
The DC comic? That was mostly Teela and the heroes in the Filmation opening sequence vs the Diamond Ray of Disappearance baddies with lots of cameos, right? King Grayskull was back for flashbacks, and King Hiss and Rattlor were the most prominent snakes again?
Once the Horde showed up, I remember Hordak, Shadow Weaver and to a lesser extent Catra and Scorpia getting like 95% of the faction's dialogue (not counting the defector Despara, and Skeletor in flashbacks). Imp got a scene of He-Man ordering his life spared while Mantenna, Entrapta and Dylamug each got one word balloon as I recall.
The Powerhouse cartoons made Scare Glow much more prominent.
If you look at the CGI cartoon, the writers felt they only had enough space in 26 episodes for 5 heroes, Adam's father, Teela's mother and foster father Man-E-Faces, the DRoD baddies (with Mer-Man independent), Tuvar/Baddra and the team Stratos assembles (with Webstor, Rule 63 Mosquitor and Gary the Living Fright Fighter).
Games are one place you might see obscure troop types get used enough that, in combination with mute cameos in cartoons/comics, you might call them franchise staples.

Well, against my better judgement, I decided to open one of the Grizzlors, and as I expected, his arms and torso separate very easily, much like the Sketchbook Grizzlor (although not quite as bad). It's something to do with the brown plastics that Mattel uses.
Also, I noticed that his figure seems to be made of a lower quality plastic, in general. It feels lighter and has a cheaper feel, like a dollar store toy, compared to Origins figures.

Modulok is designed at the same time as He-Man and Skeletor, so having the same joints as regular figures in the same line doesn't turn into the nightmare of different adaptors that make him harder to play with than the vintage one.
Sell him as a two-pack with two of those torsos he'll share with Frog Monger if you have to.

In the Filmation episode "The Time Corridor", He-Man says "The Silkon civilization vanished thousands of years ago" and they had laboratories. Then King Tamusk, who "was the last of Eternia'βs sorcerer kings. But that was thousands of years ago." gets pulled forward in time.

Central Tower IS the main neutral castle.
But in practice, all it is is "Super Grayskull"
Castle Grayskull was originally just a neutral battleground for He-Man and Skeletor to fight over, but then over time, Sorceress just lives there and it was He-Man's base
And just like that, Central Tower, after it's first appearance
>Guys, only the TRUE RULER of Eternia (Randor) can enter the place safely
>If someone evil like Hordak enters, he turns good, so only good guys allowed
>In Origins they even give it its own good "Sorceress" protector.
>The good guys come and go from the tower and use it as they please and they gotta keep the bad guys out
Beat for beat, Central Tower is just used exactly like Grayskull, but I guess it's powers are more fabulous and more secret so we don't care about Grayskull no more.

So what would Gygor's role in the collection be? We know of two different designs for the Big Jim gorilla: the more colorful one, alignment unclear, that Scott decided was an Evil Warrior or independent villain, and the red one who would have been a heroic steed.

If you want something more simple, you could always just disregard all the lore and just treat Eternia playset as the toy version of Palace Eternia that Randor rules the planet from
It's not like playsets actually looked like their toon counterparts anyway.
And if you need to explain Grayskull Tower and Viper Tower, just chalk them up to "design shorthand" for Randor having a monorail to quickly get warriors from the palace to Grayskull to defend it or to Snake Mountain to attack it

I know they did the regular Wind Raider on its own in the regular Hot Wheels line, but wouldn't the Battle Ram, Ground Ripper, or Attak Trak be more appropriate? Or put Skeletor in the Collector, or the Roton or hell even the Talon Fighter because Skeletor has flown that before. Or hell save themselves some tooling costs and put He-Man and Skeletor on Battle Cat and Panthor respectively.

Yes. Teela's friend Andra is a callback to a Star Comics OC, whose son became Man-At-Arms in the future.
The original was a blonde soldier from another city in Randor 's realm who gets promoted to Eternia, while Rev's meets Teela when she renounces her previous life to start over as a Level 1 MMO Fighter with Andra as her Artificer.

Origins has put out scores of different characters, but there are still a lot who got their only figure in Classics. Which ones would you buy if remade in the scale you collect (Origins or Masterverse)?
Marlena
Filmation Adora
Dree Elle
Lizard Man
Strongarm, Icer, Batros
Plundor, Shokoti, Lord Masque, Nepthu
Madame Razz & Broom, Sea Hawk, General Sunder, Star Sisters, Granita, Huntara
Imp, Scorpia, Octavia, Dylamug
Eldor, Plasmar, Strobo
Fearless Photog
Procrustus
Sky High, model kit pilots
Wrap Trap
Horde Wraiths, Callix
Crita, Mara, Darius
Carnivus, Dactus, Ceratus, Chooblah
Count Marzo, Evilseed
The Faceless One
Queen Veena Grayskull
Dekker
Draego-Man, Castle Grayskull Man, Cy-Chop, Unnamed One
(I'm excluding a few Classics figures like Horde Prime, Light Hope and He-Ro II, because those designs of pre-existing characters were translated to plastic so uniquely that we might see those characters again without them looking the same.)

Honestly, I'm at a point where I'd exclude anything non-vintage from what I consider complete because 1) there's no guarantees and id be setting myself up for the line eventually ending and still being "incomplete", ESPECIALLY where characters like Wrap Trap are concerned and 2) because of their decision with Cartoon Collection, there's not gonna be a cohesive "complete" Origins line there was with Classics. Even if you bought all of both assortments, you've got one collection of classic style figures that excludes Fang Man or Batros and then a second collection that excludes Stinkor and Scare Glow.
So, tl;dr, once Dragstor is available, I'll consider myself complete on 3 of the 4 factions anyway. I can live without Stonedar, Multi-Bot, the Zoids, the movie, the giants and the lasers.
But I can't live without my Two Bad and Blast-Attak so I'll be at my bare minimum for satisfaction then

Heroes - He-Man (obviously), Teela, Man-At-Arms, Battle Cat, Orko, Sorceress, Ram Man, Stratos
Skeletor's group - Skeletor (again obviously), Evil-Lyn, Beast Man, Mer-Man, Trap Jaw, Tri-Klops (also for me I prefer Tri-Klops first appearance characterisation where he was a gun for hire and not actually evil, so in my head Tri-Klops is only siding with Skeletor because he was paid for that first job and technically wasn't able to fulfil it, so that and losing the fight to He-Man is a matter of professional and personal pride).
I'm not super well versed with the She-Ra stuff yet, so I'm mainly just grabbing whatever characters appeal at the moment, but for me the She-Ra group definitely needs the core of She-Ra, Bow, Frosta, Glimmer, and Granita
Hordak's crew needs Hordak, Catra, Grizzlor, Mantenna, Entrapa, and while I like Modulok as a character I really don't like his toy. I hope they do a mini-comic version which more reflects his tiny little goblin look. Also Despara is definitely an important character for me just because, as I've said in previous threads, I really love that hero brainwashed into a villain story device.
This might be anti-thetical to the MOTU toyline itself, but it does bother me that every single character needs to be ridiculously buff, the ones that do the actual fighting make sense, but I'd prefer to see a version of Randor who is just a kindly old king and more slight of frame.

I think the only way is to buy the re-issued version. Honestly Mattel need to remember not to fall into the trap they did in the 80s where they kept bringing out new characters and forgetting to put He-Man and Skeletor back on the shelf. I know everyone is excited about the new hotness, but it's been long enough that Mattel should put those wave 1 character back on the shelf for a single run, or at least re-issue them online. Hell re-doing the knees and just updating the paint on some of the characters would probably be enough for people to pick up copies of characters they already own. Teela with the new knees, brighter whites and shinier gold and she'd sell easy.

Can someone refresh my memory on what DC Hordak's deal was? I own the omnibus and I'm still having trouble remembering.
He's millions of years old and Zodac's brother.
Millions of years after killing Zodac, he came to Eternia and fought King Grayskull. That's how he ended up both banished to Despondos and maimed, such that we see him as a cyborg attached to life support?
Thousands of years after that, he became Keldor's teacher by astrally projecting his mind from Despondos.
Keldor is changed into Skeletor and abducts Princess Adora into Despondos, raising her with Shadow Weaver.
Some years later, when Adora/Despara is old enough to be in her military uniform, Skeletor runs away to not get killed fighting Hordak, and there's time travel loop stuff? Hordak orders SW to replace Despara's memories of Skeletor's parenting with Hordak doing it.
A few years after that, the Horde invades Eternia and Hordak is able to acquire some of He-Man's blood, which he uses to replace his maimed cyborg body with a clone body (which he wants because it takes King Grayskull's DNA to use the Power Sword or Sword of Protection).
What did I miss or mangle?

Hi res of the vintage CGS boxart. Close up of newer characters and dragon pet. With the horse mold on the way, I kinda hope we get a blonde Teela set with this unicorn.

>Frog Monger's minicomic says he was originally a human prince
Concept art fags, imagine you're in an elevator with the MotU brand manager. He'll make characters from your wish list, but only the ones you can pitch as fitting a famous fairy tale.
Here's all I'd be able to come up with:
Green witch is a cannibal who owns a gingerbread house at the foot of Snake Mountain as bait for children.
Red Beast considers himself Prince Adam's archenemy ever since Adam as a child committed home invasion, ate porridge and broke his son's chair.

Think they'll try Stratos again as LoP with the feather collar they ditched last time?

I want LoP Man At Arms so bad. It's all about that pimp fur around his shoulders.
Also it needs to be said again but fuck Mattel for their laziness. If you are going to do cheap repaints like Stratos, just pay attention to details and give him the feather collar to begin with. Amateur hour over there.

You can get that armor from Serpent Claw Man-At-Arms. You'll just have to paint it yourself...

Strobo as Magic Mirror telling people who's the fairest of them all and stuff like that?
Scorpia is saved by She-Ra only to stab her while theyre mid-air cause scorpions are like that.
Entrapta is obviously Rapunzel, just evil.

Would FF He-Man, Terror Claws Skeletor, the Sorceress, Buzz-Off, Jitsu, naked Stratos and Sun Man be the best set of figures to let your very young child start with to see if they can avoid damaging figures?

Just an aside, but you know what'sfunny? The witch isn't even my favorite sketchbook character, but I think she's still the one I want most right now because I've got a whole bunch of display and photo stories I want to do that I got my heart set on using her instead of some substitute

A little something I'm sure our resident lorefags and minicomic autists will enjoy. Some interesting nuggets for you, like Skeletor being Beast Man s minion originaly

I think it's mainly the fact that she looks like Captain Planet, which appeals to me, and also that She-Ra sits in the same part of my brain as Sailor Moon, so I want the She-Ra supporting group to kinda match the same roles. At least visually and for some reason she equates in my brain to Sailor Jupiter.

There are already those World's Smallest Toys MOTU figures which show that the figures could work, giving them playsets would be awesome.

Mattel are such shit fuckers.
MEGA was a great line and the figures were so versatile..
but buying the original company and then treating it like shit and THEN licensing a lot of their stuff to fucking LEGO and playmobile is the worst. IT was a terrible business decision.
