Noob driver here. On my way home, I turned right into a narrow road. It's not a one-way road but this path doesn't see too much traffic, so people usually drive in the middle. Saw a lifted Silverado incoming. I moved to my right and slowed significantly. Truck passed by with no incident. As they left, I realized I had fully stopped.

Did I do the right thing slowing down?
