Function over quality I agree. These bookcases couldn't hold much, yes they are a lot nicer but I would much rather prefer storage. Besides the price is insane by the time I am finished collecting I will need 6 Billy's and if i purchased all oak it would be well over 1500 just for a stupid oak bookcase.
