Don't be mistaken, anime is rapidly bleeding fans and not gaining anymore.
Anime's popularity peaked with One Punch Man. In 10-20 years everyone is gonna move on from anime and only the hardcore fans will be left.
You can already feel the air shifting, many anime "FANS" I know no longer keep up with anime except for 1-2 popular shows, back in high school they used to watch everything.
