I have no fucking clue why do the Black Sun was so pervasive when that was from a novel, and the chapter 0 poems, when the moon motif is so much more persistent with Ichigo. Then again, it could just be Kubo being Kubo, idk. I haven't seen a good explanation besides "he is both Sun and Moon, the Moon is a reflection of him (his powers), just like the Moon reflects the Sun, but the Sun is his identity (everyone revolves around him, how he changes SS, etc.)
