Same here. I was surprised at how good it is. Feels like it was made by somebody who understands the idea of Stalker (the gameplay part) perfectly and distilled it into all killer no filler type game with some extras. Shit I liked especially:

>furry shit is never fetishized or accentuated, which surprised me. They never mention it in the game just like we don't go around saying "hurr look at how homo-sapiens we are rrerr :3". It's just a matter of fact in that universe so no one cares.
>Your position is not displayed on the map, have to figure it our yourself
>Have to look at uniforms to know friend from foe, learning how they look from the codec.
>All life is visible all across the maps (The map system is like in the first Stalker games). You can zoom your binoculars to clearly see enemies patrolling or fighting with each other 500+m away.
>nights are dark af
>flashlights are bright af
>HUD is a physical item you have to buy or find, and it takes up your helmet slot (can be integrated into helmets)
>AI is pretty cool (see vid: https://litter.catbox.moe/k6o25fw24q6fg7hj.mp4 ), they go into standoffs, ambushes, shit like that. Actually run away and hide if you start sniping from afar, or just generally when they don't understand what just happened.
>YOU DIE FAST, BUT YOU KILL ENEMIES FAST. Holy shit this is so refreshing. A bullet or two from a nugget or a quick burst from a 9mm SMG downs an armored enemy.
>Very smooth even on my ancient PC
