Because they didn't care about anything but Chloe x Max scissoring and their "cutsey uwu romance". I'd constantly see people saying they didn't care about the rest of the cast, just Chloe, or that the rest of the cast didn't matter, had sex. Never mind that you're letting hundreds if not thousands of innocent people die.
