Honestly, I might need to step away from chudtubers for a while. We are so vantablackpilled that I’m worried about what this is gonna turn me into. I always knew the political views these girls spewed were a bit skewed, but they were at least skewed in a fun way, like “Everyone around me is a retarded sheep”. Now, it’s, “Everyone around me is a murderous psychopath waiting for an opportunity to kill me the second they find out I’m anti-immigration”, and that just puts me in a really unhealthy mindset, and it’ll lead to a really bad crashout that’ll ruin my life if I let it linger in my mind for too long. Sure, it’s easy to say “60% of leftists are normal people who don’t want to kill you”. But it’s hard to find evidence of that, because the only evidence of a sane leftist is one who said nothing on the Charlie Kirk shooting. Not, “I hope they kill his family too”, not, “I’m not advocating for political violence (against my side), I simply don’t have sympathy for him”, just dead silence, and it’s easier to find proof than it is to find the lack of proof.

I dunno, man. I miss when Vtubers were full-on anime characters who separated their political views from their content. Now, I have to worry about if my oshi looks up my IRL name and tries to kill me for some random Youtube comments I made. Or hell, maybe her oil barons put out a hit on me or something. I can’t even fully deny that being possible anymore, with how the state of the world is. Hell, if I go to Pippa or Erina and try to chill and be apolitical, maybe Clara jumps in and starts spouting shit and starts investigating her fans for being “ex-chuds”.
