No, but you should immediately assert yourself depending on the breed if it starts to bear it's teeth. It's horrible to say, but it's one of the few times where the reality is you will need to physicaly intervene. If it's a breed like a German Shepherd and it does that to you will need to pin it against something like a wall to make it very clear that you are not a pack mate it can intimidate because if it does think that you will be in a world of hurt in the long run. If the dog is snarling during play or not bearing teeth it's not issue, but when it does it out of play and you see the teeth that is when you should be concerned.
