Even with twin SRM 4s you've got 12.5 salvos...
But really, it's that the ER Large Lasers overlap SRMs entire range, meaning your usually better off taking the chance with the second ERLL and jumping behind cover to cool off.

Honestly I was REALLY tempted to do what I did in MWO and just replace the SRMs with LRM 5s.
