I suppose at more anime-centered conventions, you can go to panels and meetups more centered on your interests. Also, other smaller conventions have a more community feel to it, like you can actually talk to people and not be seen as an utter freak.

Ah... turpentine... noted. I used to have a lot of turpentine when I was a more consistent painter, but I never much enjoyed oil paint. I will see what I can do, I have once again arrived home too exhausted to care about doing anything but sleep and rot, deshou.
