It's kind of funny, really - for a couple of years I've been working on drafting my own comic as a personal hobby and thus I've been trying to improve my skill as a writer, but that's made me notice that it seems like nobody can tell me what they think "good" writing is; they can go on and on about all the things they consider shit, but when you ask them about what narrative elements that they think are genuinely GOOD, in a way that they genuinely feel passionate about it and is formed by their own viewpoints (rather than getting it all from some cultist circlejerk), it's like they go radio silent. Kinda weird, innit?
