It's kind of funny, really - for a couple of years I've been working on drafting my own comic as a personal hobby and thus I've been trying to improve my skill as a writer, but that's made me notice that it seems like nobody can tell me what they think "good" writing is; they can go on and on about all the things they consider shit, but when you ask them about what narrative elements that they think are genuinely GOOD, in a way that they genuinely feel passionate about it and is formed by their own viewpoints (rather than getting it all from some cultist circlejerk), it's like they go radio silent.
