Because it's disgusting. I've tried multiple times with Bulleit, Bookers, Michters, Stagg. I've had a bunch of rare small-batch somethings at a degustation. Some are better, some are worse, but ultimately all are shit. The stevia-like sweetness of corn is revolting, no matter how you cask or age it. I think only hipsters and people raised on a steady diet of HFCS can truly enjoy that stuff. Tequila and rye are the only good American spirits.
