I'm trying to be fair-minded and not reflexive about this and point out that we're also going to see a massive experiment in progressivism before 2028
New York's next mayor, and I'm not using hyperbole here, has pledged to
>cut the NYPD in half
>establish government owned and operated nonprofit grocery stores
>remove all rules from the already dirty and dangerous subway, including fares themselves
>ban ICE from the city by force
>freeze rents, which i admit will be very popular unless and until the housing shortage worsens
>raise property taxes on "white neighborhoods" (I actually can't believe he put that one out loud in his campaign literature what the fuck was he thinking)
And /pol/ loves the dude because he fuckin hates Israel so, so much for the "far right"
But my sincere question is, do people really believe New York becomes BETTER after a couple years of this or is it just obvious that shit's gonna turn into The Warriors, and if it does how will blame be shifted to Drumpf
