While I understand the anons replying to this thinking of a movie as continuing the narrative, I would much rather just have it be like a regular fucking movie. Give people like a concise narrative of what Adventure time was in its early more simplistic years(not even cause I people are split on the gay shit, its just having a movie with those later elements would require too much context) and just throw a bigger budget at it, have it be more of a celebration on why people liked the damn show in the first place. Similar to how the Super Mario Bros Movie was basically a highlight reel of what people liked about Mario
