Tails is one of the few characters in this franchise that wouldn't be a deadbeat dad.
I can see this working out relatively well for both of them, actually.
Amy gets a child she can look after and form a maternal bond with, Tails gets to teach the kid mechanics stuff and how to be a cool pilot like their dad, and Tails just makes a robot or a gizoid, or whatever to watch over the kid when they don't want to deal with it.
Better scenario than if Sonic accidentally impregnated her.
