I had no idea where we were going with it, honestly. And I was in the trenches in those first few months saying that it was a way better Amaurot narratively since we can see and relate to the dead there more than some insane guy's memories. For me, sadly, the only one that REALLY hit was kirle's parents even if the bit before them dying with the ice cream was kinda meh.
