snyder better director by far, but shit writer/creative control. i hate mos, etc, but some of the shots and lighting are great and lots of movies rip him off, including gunn himself.
gunn has only had 1 and a half good movies - gotg 1 and 2. after success, the more control and freedom given, the worse his productions have gotten and you cant name a single shot or scene from his movies. he lfinds a scene similar and shoots shot for shot what better creators do and still manages to make it worse or his small changes spoil the scene.
if snyder just worked with a smarter writer/better scripts, hed be much better regarded. he also turned on griftosphere/called them out publicly for trying to donate to his charity and they hate him ever since and constantly berate him. you get fnt/efap guys saying 300 and watchmen are terrible films simply because snyder is involved. like worst films ever and pointing at historical inaccuracies for only actual critique. its insanity.
