Same anon who was considering selling the stock earlier in the thread. I decided to keep it and make use of it. I had to file down the sides of the stock where it inserts into the reciever, it fits now. I've only dealt with AR stuff prior to this and the concept of fitting furniture and loose tolerances just wasn't a thing to me. If I had to guess i believe I had to take down 1mm of material. Now, the question. For whatever reasom my reciever is like 1/8th inch taller than standard reciever size, and the stock makes contact with the tang, the screws are tightened, and the wedge block is making contact with the bottom of the reciever. Could I make a shim out of neoprene rubber to fill that little gap? Any suggestions? I am also considering just molding down that bottom part of the stock to make the gap flush.
