>I ruled to permit one thread par boards to talk about the board. I hope it'll change them better.
Hello everyone! I'm providing a meta thread, as per the admin of 4chan, who said we could be allowed to have one meta thread per board, in hopes of "changing them for the better".
Isn't that a nice notion? To make /v/ a better place. I'm sure that's all something we want.
There's one topic in particular I'd like to focus on today, and that's the deletion of Video game threads on /v/ due to the rule that states no "reoccuring" threads are to be had on /v/.
My previous meta thread was deleted because I was told it was off topic because it didn't talk about video games, and yet when I make a video games thread, I'm told to go to /vg/ to talk about video games instead. So what exactly IS the point of /v/?
Now, if the jannies are going to disobey the rules set by the administrator of this website and proceed to delete this thread for being "off topic", I would kindly request that they also issue a permaban for me from this website, as if I'm not allowed to have video games discussion here, and I'm not allowed to have a discussion with you guys about how to improve this place, I don't really want to post here anymore.
This website is losing users left and right, and I don't think stifling organic game discussion simply because it's a popular game is healthy for the site at all. In fact it's not only going to cause people to leave the site, but it's going to create more unrest which will lead to more shitposting to spite the moderation staff. If you want people to stay on this site, you need to be clear and consistent with the rules and how you enforce them.
Why are some video games allowed to have threads for years? Why is the AI general allowed to stay up despite being a general and not video games? Define a "recocuring" thread, is it a thread that's been made twice, 100 times? A month? Years? What is it. Be specific.
