I have a very autistic sibling and I believe the meme about autistic people not giving a fuck enough to maintain gender conformity. If you've lived with someone beyond level 1 funny pins Tumblr autism it becomes very clear these people don't give a fuck the way we do.
There's also been a wave of reppers revealing themselves on Tiktok following I Saw the TV Glow's release, possibly alluding to more trans people being out there but the stigma is just too high for them. However, the social stigma seems mid to the sigma autist mind, so they just transition anyway.
